Own your spending with the BNZ app

Make your accounts your own in the BNZ app^ and manage your money from the get-go. You can add nicknames, set goals, and use the drag and drop feature to pay your friends fast. Top up your pre-pay mobile here, set up auto-payments for bills, and use the calendar feature to make sure you always pay your rent on time.

Plus, your transactions get automatically categorised^ to help you track your spending habits, under the ‘Activity’ tab in the BNZ app.^

A Rapid Save account can help you get closer to your savings goals. You can use our Rapid Save calculator as a guide to find out how much you need to save, or how long it will take, to reach your savings goal.

You can open an account online by using RealMe®, or by taking a photo of yourself and your New Zealand passport or New Zealand driver licence. A third way to open an account is to start online and get verified at your nearest branch. You must be aged 13 or older and live in New Zealand.
