Thank you for rolling back Home Screen design

Thank you for listening and reverting Home Screen fonts sizes. I’ve reinstated my 5 star rating of this application which, until this recent issue, has always been an exceptionally well thought out and effective app for banking on the go. With an app this good it’s rare to need to use your full web site.

I do have one suggestion. Could you bring the insurance tab from your website banking app to the mobile app? Often when you have an insurance query or need to contact the insurance team you aren’t necessarily at home on a computer, and your main web site is difficult to access or navigate on a phone.

Hi Burt123456, thanks for your feedback. The new Home Screen has accessibility improvements, such as dynamic text sizing and better voice over functionality. It also includes dark mode, which we hope customers will enjoy. You can scale down the text size of the BNZ app if you find it too large. Go to your phone’s Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size and adjust the options to your preference. I will also pass your feedback to the team, so they can look at the issue you're having too. ^MB

BNZ App is great

And probably the best NZ banking app.

Couple suggestions:
- I wish the app had the ability to pay people from previous transactions who aren't in your contacts. What I mean is that I see a payment sent or received in transaction history, but you can't either copy paste the account number, or alternatively simply tap the account number to make a new payment, or better yet, see other transactions to/from that account as well. Treat the account number like a new contact. I really think this would make the app way better than it already is.
- I miss the "blue theme". Why only light and dark mode, and no "classic" theme? I liked it because it's easier on the eyes than the new light mode. I personally find the light mode font and font-colour quite harsh on the eyes, whereas I don't find this with other light mode apps.

Other than these two things, the only other feature I think would be really useful is overhauling the kiwisaver functionality. There's no history of how your funds are doing, only "what it is today", and the history of deposits/withdrawals. If you want more than that, you really have to login each day, view the amount, and save it to your own spreadsheet.

Thanks though for the great app. It really is better than most other banks, and honestly the primary reason I'm with BNZ.

Pro: Fabulous for daily use. Con: A tad slow to load content for two of the newest features

The BNZ app is fabulous and allows me to do all the things I need to without having to login to the desktop site (#mobileFirst). So many nifty features like Apple Pay, can manage my mortgage and KiwiSaver, CS contact via the app, they even have verification via the app for when I ring up about my account. Only con to the app is that the “Activity” and “Notifications” screens take a few noticeable seconds to load the content (that’s a super slow api call 😕). I end up exiting the screen before it loads coz it takes so long. Improve that and then I’ll use those features too coz they are super handy if you can be bothered waiting for it to load supppeeerrr sllooowwwllllyyyy.
