Ways to pay your annual premium

To pay your premium in instalments, you must pay using direct debit. If you don’t want to pay using direct debit, there are three other payment methods where you can pay your full annual insurance premium.

Pay using the IAG dashboard

  1. Log in to the BNZ app or Internet Banking.
  2. From the menu select Insurances.
  3. Select Go to dashboard.
  4. Choose the insurance policy you want to make a payment for.
  5. Select View all details.
  6. Scroll down to ‘Payment plan’ and select Pay now.

Pay using Internet Banking or the BNZ app

  1. Log in to the BNZ app or Internet Banking.
  2. Search and select BNZ Insurance (IAG) as the payee.
  3. Enter in the full annual premium amount for the policy you’ve chosen to pay under Amount.
  4. In the Reference field of the Statement details, enter the correct policy number (e.g. HOMP123456789 or MOTP123456789).
  5. Select Pay.
  6. If you have more than one policy, you’ll need to make a separate payment for each policy.

To keep your cover active, make sure your payment details are correct and complete. If something’s missing, IAG may not be able to process your payment, and your cover could be affected.

You can also talk to the IAG team about your policy. Remember to have your policy number and credit or debit card handy. The team is available Mon-Fri, 8am-8pm, Sat-Sun 8.30am-5pm.
