Administration and authorising payments

Payment types you can authorise in Mobile Business Banking

You can authorise a number of payment types in Mobile Business Banking, including same-day cleared payments, direct credits, direct debits, payrolls, funds transfers, and bill payments. You can also create and authorise foreign currency funds transfers and one-off payments to any domestic bank account including to any New Zealand issued VISA, Mastercard and American Express (excluding Diners).

Managing and restricting users ability to authorise certain payment types in Mobile Business Banking 

Your business administrator can turn off the ability for users to be able to authorise certain payment types in Mobile Business Banking. These are managed under the Administrator tab in Internet Banking for Business.

Your business administrator can turn off the ability for users to view certain account types in Mobile Business Banking. These are managed under the Administrator tab in Internet Banking for Business.

Access to Mobile Business Banking features outside of business hours

Approved users of Mobile Business Banking will be able to use its features at any time, including outside of business hours.

Deleting payments

You won’t be able to delete payments in Mobile Business Banking. If you need to delete a payment you’ll need to log in to Internet Banking for Business.

Internet Banking for Business logon via Mobile Business Banking

At this stage you can’t access more than one Internet Banking for Business logon via Mobile Business Banking. However, you’re able to log in to Internet Banking for Business for multiple organisations, authenticating yourself using the 6-digit code generated by the Mobile Business Banking app. Please note that the ability to approve/deny a login using push notifications is limited to one organisation per device. 

Logged into Internet Banking for Business and Mobile Business Banking at the same time

You can have users logged into Internet Banking for Business creating payments, while others are logged into Mobile Business Banking authorising payments.

Two authorisations for a payment in Mobile Business Banking

If you require two authorisations for a payment type, both users can approve in Mobile Business Banking if they have been given this permission by the administrator.
