You can also add Multi-Currency Settlement to receive payments in four foreign currencies^ directly to your corresponding BNZ foreign currency account.^

Merchant service fee - fixed pricing

With fixed pricing, you pay a set merchant service fee based on the payment type, whether the card was issued in New Zealand (domestic) or overseas (international), and whether Multi-Currency Settlement applies. The fee is calculated as a percentage of each transaction, giving you greater certainty about the cost of accepting card payments.

The above pricing applies for merchants who settle all transactions to a BNZ business account. A premium of 0.45% applies for merchants who settle transactions to non-BNZ business accounts.

Fixed pricing is available to eligible businesses with an average transaction size of $20 or more per month. If your average transaction size is less than $20 per month, or later falls below $20 per month, we may offer or transfer you to a different pricing plan, such as Interchange Plus.
