Your BNZ Platinum credit card includes travel insurance^. You can activate your travel insurance before you leave New Zealand.
How to activate your travel insurance
If you’re a BNZ Platinum cardholder (including joint and additional cardholders), you can activate your travel insurance cover by simply being a Platinum card holder at the time you make a payment towards any of your pre-paid travel costs such as pre-paid accommodation, pre-paid tours or return overseas travel tickets.
That’s all. You don’t need to call us, and there’s no lengthy form to fill in.
Make sure you keep any receipts, bank statements, emails or other proof that you’ve activated your travel insurance. If you make a claim, we’ll need to see these original documents.

Cover for spouses or children
