What to do if your NetGuard card hasn’t arrived

If your NetGuard card hasn’t arrived within 10 business days of applying, please call us on 0800 999 269 (+64 4 494 7153 from overseas, charges apply).

While waiting for your card to arrive

New customers

You can still log in to Internet Banking with your access ID and password while you’re waiting for your NetGuard card to arrive. For security reasons, you’ll only be able to do this for 10 days. After that you’ll need to activate your NetGuard card to use Internet Banking.

If you’ve registered for Internet Banking with your credit card, you’ll be able to view your accounts and transfer money within your accounts straight away. Once your NetGuard card arrives and you’ve activated it, you’ll be able to make payments.

Existing customers

For security reasons, if you’re already registered for Internet Banking, you’ll need to wait until your NetGuard card arrives and activate it, in order to log in to Internet Banking. 

Making payments without your NetGuard card

If you need to make payments straight away, you can register with your Telephone Banking PIN, call us on 0800 275 2690, or visit your nearest BNZ store.
