Setting up and managing automatic payments

You can set up, edit, or stop automatic payments up to a limit of $10,000 in Internet Banking.

Setting up an automatic payment

  1. From the main screen, click and drag the account you’d like to pay from, onto another account, a payee, or Someone new.
  2. Enter amount and click More options. If you’re paying someone new, the options will already be displayed.
  3. Select a start date for the payment.
  4. Select a payment frequency by clicking in the Repeat field.
  5. Enter statement details if you’d like to, and click Pay Now or Transfer Now.

Adding a reference to your payment

  • In the payment pop-up click 'More options'
  • Enter statement details.

Editing automatic payments

  1. Click on the account that the automatic payment comes from.
  2. Scheduled automatic payments will show under the Upcoming heading (which is located just above your account history).
  3. Click on the payment that you want to edit.
  4. In the pop-up, edit the details you want to change, including your final payment date.
  5. Click Save, and then Confirm.

You can also find your upcoming automatic payments by clicking on the search icon in the top right corner of the main screen. This will open a list of transactions and all upcoming payments will be top of the list.

Suspending automatic payments

  1. Click on the account that the automatic payment comes from.
  2. Scheduled automatic payments will show under the Upcoming heading (which is located just above your account history).
  3. Click on the payment that you want to suspend.
  4. Under the Suspend heading, select from the dropdown menu how many payments you want to suspend the automatic payment for.
  5. Click Save, and then Confirm.

Deleting automatic payments

To permanently delete all occurrences of an automatic payment:

  1. Click on the account that the automatic payment comes from.
  2. Scheduled automatic payments will show under the Upcoming heading (which is located just above your account history).
  3. Click on the payment that you want to delete.
  4. In the pop-up, click Delete, and then Confirm.
