Stopping paper statements
You can change whether you receive paper statements or not from within Internet Banking or through the BNZ app.
By turning paper off you’ll no longer receive account statements, tax certificates, KiwiSaver annual statements, annual loan summaries and term deposit certificates in the mail. These documents will still be available online.
How to turn paper statements off
- Log in to Internet Banking and click Menu at the top-left of the page.
- Select Documents and click Settings at the bottom of the page.
- You can manage your statement preferences with the Online only button. If you switch it to green, you will stop receiving paper statements. If you switch it to grey, you can turn your paper statements back on. Depending on your settings, you may be prompted to authenticate using your NetGuard card or BNZ app.
Managing your statement notifications
You can manage your statement notifications by selecting Documents, clicking on Settings, then clicking Edit. You can choose to get email notifications when new statements are available or a payment is due.
