Once your PayClip application is approved, there are just three things you need to get up and running.

1: The Portal

Log in to the BNZ PayClip Portal. Here, you can set up your team as Mobile Users so anyone in your business can accept payments on the go using PayClip.

2: THE APP

Download the free BNZ PayClip app for Apple™ or Android™ on your smartphone. You will need to use this alongside your PayClip device to accept payments.

3: The Device

Your PayClip device will be couriered to you as soon as your application is approved. Connect the device to your smartphone via Bluetooth® and you're ready to go.

  1. American Express merchant facility required. Contact American Express on 0800 800 855 Monday to Friday, from 9.00am to 6.00pm to apply.

  2. Service Fee of 2.95% of the total monthly net $ value (i.e. monthly sales transactions less refund transactions) of Visa, Mastercard, American Express and UnionPay transactions (including Visa PayWave and Mastercard PayPass transactions) processed through the PayClip device. The Service Fees will be calculated monthly at the end of each calendar month, and are payable by you on the 15th of the subsequent calendar month. Should the 15th of the month fall on a day which is not a banking day, the fees will be payable on the next banking day.

  3. The standard monthly device fee will be debited from your nominated bank account.

  4. Funds will be deducted from your customer’s account and recorded immediately on your BNZ PayClip app and portal. Funds will be paid into your bank account on the next banking day. See your Merchant Service Agreement for details.
