PIN and fingerprint login

Changes coming soon

App users will soon get the option to log in with a five-digit PIN or, if their device has the capability, by fingerprint recognition.

Everyone has access to these new functions, but administrators can disable the permissions so that users have to enter a password instead. 

How to disable PIN and fingerprint login

  1. Go to the ‘Administration’ tab in Internet Banking for Business and select ‘User List’.
  2. Select the user you want and click ‘edit’.
  3. Click on ‘Customise Permissions’.
  4. Scroll down and make sure the ‘Mobile PIN and/or fingerprint login’ permission is unticked.
  5. Select ‘Next’.
  6. Select ‘Submit’.
