Effective interest rate is calculated based on your average monthly combined credit balances in your transaction and savings accounts being offset against your TotalMoney home loan, based on the amounts entered. So you only pay interest on the difference. Your monthly home loan payments remain calculated using the current TotalMoney variable interest rate, however the difference between that and using the effective rate calculated is attributed towards your home loan principal. The TotalMoney rate is subject to change.
