Terms and Conditions – BNZ Rewards offer for Life Insurance Referrals
- Offer available until withdrawn by BNZ.
- To be eligible for the 5,000 bonus BNZ Points allocation contribution to your BNZ Rewards account you must:
i) be a member of the BNZ Rewards programme at the time of self-referral and when the points are awarded to the account (i.e. have not chosen to opt-out),
ii) request a call back via the ‘Apply Now’ menu – by selecting ‘Insurances – Life’ within the BNZ app, or by selecting ‘Enquire about life insurance’ within BNZ Internet Banking, and
iii) complete contact by having a phone conversation with a Partners Life representative about your insurance needs within 7 calendar days from requesting a call back (as outlined in step ii above). Partners Life will make three attempts to call you within the 7-day period. Only a completed phone conversation counts. Missed or declined calls, voicemails, or other contact methods do not qualify. For clarity, there is no obligation to enter into any, or make changes to an existing, insurance policy with Partners Life as a result of the contact.
Completion of steps ii and iii qualifies as a ‘valid digital self-referral’ and you will receive 5,000 bonus BNZ Points. If you have previously opted out of the BNZ Rewards programme, you must opt back in prior to requesting the call back. The BNZ Points will automatically appear in your BNZ Points balance within one calendar month of completing a valid digital self-referral. - Additional terms:
a. You will be eligible to receive 5,000 bonus BNZ Points once in every 12-month period for as long as the offer is in place. A ‘12-month period’ is measured from the date of the most recent valid digital self-referral. Completing multiple valid digital self-referrals during a 12-month period will not result in receiving additional BNZ Points.
b. Offer limited to valid self-referrals through the Internet Banking or the BNZ app only. Not available through other channels (e.g. in branch staff sending the referral or via contact centre phone referral or by contacting Partners Life directly). You do not need to be an existing policy holder of a Partners Life insurance policy and enter into a new insurance policy or make changes to any existing Partners Life insurance policy you hold to be eligible for the offer.
c. BNZ, in its sole discretion, has the right to determine whether you’re eligible for the offer, and can disqualify you at any time for being fraudulent, dishonest or misleading or otherwise acting outside these terms. BNZ may decide that you forfeit the 5,000 bonus BNZ Points if you’re a BNZ customer with accounts that are in default or closed due to misconduct, or if you’re no longer a member of the BNZ Rewards Programme.
d. BNZ reserves the right to amend or withdraw this offer at any time without notice.

f. No party, including BNZ, is liable for direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from this offer.

h. BNZ employees who are BNZ customers and enrolled in the BNZ Rewards Programme are eligible for this offer.
