NZ Dutch Disease in Reverse
The Greek populace has spoken. It has essentially voted against the latest demands, and associated financial support, from the so-called troika (European Commission, ECB and IMF). The ball is now firmly in the troika’s court and markets will be hanging off their every word hence. It’s a high stakes game. And not just for Greece. The Eurozone policymakers will be conscious of the example that Greece might set for other member countries, as credibility of the whole Eurozone project comes under greater scrutiny.
