Over-Inflated Expectations

Tuesday afternoon’s ANZ business survey will set the pre-Easter tone in New Zealand markets. At last read – in February – it held up a bit better than we had figured on. If this keeps up then we might start to wonder if GDP growth will, in fact, start to slow this year, as is our forecast. Then again, there is much to support New Zealand’s economic expansion in 2015, in spite of obvious headwinds.
