Notification of overseas travel

When you are going to travel outside of New Zealand, notify us of your plans so that we can better protect your cards and transactions while you're overseas. You can do this yourself through Internet Banking, and if your plans change for any reason, you can send us another notification. 

How to create a travel notification

There are two locations within Internet Banking that you are able to send us a notification from:

Secure message centre

To send us a travel notification message from your secure messages, you can:

  1. Log into Internet Banking and click on “menu”on the left hand side 
  2. Click on “Contact” from the menu options; this will open your secure messages
  3. Click on the link under the heading “Going overseas?”, to load the form and enter all relevant details about your travel plans 
  4. Click “submit” to send us the form. 

 

Your cards page

To send us a travel notification message from your cards page, you can:

  1. Log into Internet Banking and click on “menu”on the left hand side 
  2. Click on “Cards” from the menu options; this will open “Your cards” page
  3. Click on the “Let us know your travel plans” link to load the form and enter all relevant details about your travel plans 
  4. Click “submit” to send us the form.
