We monitor transactions made via Internet Banking and Internet Banking for Business. If there's any suspicious activity our fraud department will quickly investigate. We’ll place a security alert message on the login pages of our Internet banking services to let you know what’s happening. We’ll also tell you if there’s anything you should do to protect your money and identity from the risk of online fraud.
A couple of things we’ll never do
- If you enter any of your three NetGuard co-ordinates incorrectly while logging in, we will tell you and ask you for the same set of three co-ordinates again - never different ones
- We will never change the login process without telling you first
- We will never ask you to divulge your password
Here’s what you can do to help
- Keep your anti-virus software up to date and run regular scans
- Accept updates from software providers to help protect your computer from new security threats
