Low cost

MyMoney offers everyday banking for just $5 a month, giving you the freedom to make as many transactions as you want (service and facility fees apply). For other things - like setting up a bill payment, telegraphic transfer and getting email or text alerts - the usual service fees apply.

Manage your money whenever and however

There is no limit to how often you can deposit, transfer and withdraw your money. Transactions with telephone, internet banking, BNZ ATMs, EFTPOS and BNZ tellers are included in the $5 monthly fee (service and facility fees apply). So, with MyMoney you’ll never have to think about your bank transaction fees again.

Avoid nasty surprises - get text or email alerts

You can set alerts2 to tell you when a transaction has gone through, how much money you have or when you’re nearing your limit. And by setting ‘do not disturb’ times you won’t be woken up by an alert. Our internet banking service puts you in control of your alerts; you can change them as often as you like.

Small print

  3. Fees are charged on the last business day of each calendar month and are based on the period between the last business day of the previous calendar month and the second to last business day of the current month, inclusive.
  4. Fees for Telegraphic Transfers will still apply.
  5. Payments into your account from other parties by way of BNZ Internet Banking, Automatic Payment or ATM are classed as Electronic Transactions.
  6. Government stamp duty charges for cheques apply.
  7. Debit interest charges also apply, minimum charge $1.00.

* After the first year, a $10 annual card fee applies to Flexi Debit Visa and a $5 monthly fee applies to the MyMoney account.

** Although the Telephone and Internet Banking and ATM services will normally be available 24 hours a day, maintenance of the system is required from time to time. Accordingly, certain options may not be available for an average of three hours a week. This maintenance, however, will be carried out at times which will cause the least disruption to you.
