Telegraphic transfer1
- Usually received at the overseas bank within 48 hours
- You can add a short message to the payment
- To send a telegraphic transfers, you'll need to give us some specific details
- Send funds overseas via Internet Banking.
International cheque2
- You post the cheque to the person you’re paying
- It’s ideal if they don’t need the money in a hurry
- They have to deposit the cheque into a bank account, so make sure they have an account in the country you’re sending it to
- You simply order the cheque at your local BNZ store and the next business day it will be delivered to a store of your choice
