Rugby is New Zealand's national game. It's part of what defines us as a country, at home and around the world. Our sponsorship helps the five New Zealand franchises to retain and develop our top rugby talent. In return, we get to show our support.
Showing our support
To provide certainty of support for the New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU) and the five New Zealand franchises, we've made an initial three-year commitment from 2010 to 2012. As part of the agreement we get to show our support on their playing and replica jerseys, and on all official team apparel. You'll also see our logo on the playing field of each New Zealand Super Rugby franchise.
You can help too
You can support your local or favourite New Zealand Super Rugby franchise by purchasing the BNZ branded playing jerseys and attending live matches at their stadium. Nothing shows your support more than turning up on the night to show your colours and cheer your team on. It's also a whole lot of fun – we'll be there for sure.

In 2012 we created a live alternative twitter commentary called #BNZgamechat. Hayley Holt, Martin Devlin, Craig Innes, Sara Tetro and Ric Salizzo provided an unusual and fun combination of commentary for rugby fans. You can view what happened here.
