Plunket has been caring for New Zealand’s young families since 1907. Today, more than 90% of New Zealanders begin life as a Plunket baby. With services that cover every corner of the country, Plunket has always been an essential part of our communities. BNZ and Plunket have a lot in common and we‘re proud to be their principal sponsor.
Part of what it is to be Kiwi
Plunket provides free child and family support services to New Zealand families with children up to five years old. This includes parenting education, toy libraries, car seat rental, parent support groups, family centres and play groups. It’s an essential service for parents with young families, and one of the things that has helped to define our New Zealand way of life.
Our support
Supporting Plunket is another example of how we’re working to strengthen our communities. Making it easier for parents to raise healthy children not only improves children’s lives, but also the wellbeing of our communities. As principal sponsor, we’re helping Plunket to expand their parenting education programme. This vital programme helps new parents to build confidence and knowledge during the period of emotional and financial change that comes with having a new baby. We also assist Plunket with their annual appeal so they can continue to receive the financial donations they need.
