Helping us to help our customers.

Our customer insights team invites customers to tell us what they think about banking in general and share their experiences by taking part in online surveys. It's one of the ways we stay in touch with the changing needs of our customers, so we can continue to improve what we do and how we do it.

About the online surveys

We asked the survey software company, Vision Critical, to host our surveys and our BNZ Voice panel website and we conduct surveys directly ourselves at BNZ, or through research companies including TNS and Camorra Research Limited.

Protecting privacy

  • The surveys comply with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 and our customer privacy policy
  • Customers click an 'opt-out' link to unsubscribe from receiving future survey invitations
  • The online surveys never ask customers about their banking details

Join our customer research panel BNZ Voice

If you'd like to help us by answering short email surveys or participating in online discussions about new and existing BNZ products and services, please think about joining our customer panel.

  • You must be over 15 years old and not employed in the banking industry (unless a BNZ employee)
  • You must be a BNZ customer (personal, business, agribusiness or private banking customer) and live in New Zealand with regular internet access

Answering the surveys we send to you

Once you've joined our customer panel, you'll receive email invitations to take part in relevant surveys or online discussions.

Knowing the survey is genuine

  • They're sent from support@voice.bnz.co.nz to your email address
  • You can double-check that a survey is genuine by calling our customer contact centre
