Assistance for Partners' clients

• Up to $50k temporary overdraft limit for 90 days to cover other short term funding requirements resulting from the floods.
• Waiver of all fees associated with either increased facilities or restructuring.
• Suspension of loan repayments for three months.
• Ability to break term deposits without penalties for emergency access to funds.

Access to Emergency Funds

• We're offering our housing customers up to $10k temporary overdraft limit for 90 days maximum (at an interest rate of 4.5% pa).

Resilience Package
The offer is available to all owners of residential property in the Nelson and Golden Bay area whose homes have been rendered uninhabitable and/or severely damaged as a result of the floods.

• 2% p.a. discount on the TotalMoney Home Loan variable rate (currently 5.74% p.a). This would currently equate to 3.74% p.a on home loans.
• This package will be available to customers to apply for three months (through until 31 March 2012).
• The discounted rate on the variable home loan will apply for 12 months from the date of the change being made (up to 31 March 2013).
• New loans will be required where there is a move from a fixed rate mortgage, or where the loan is to secure a new property. Re-documentation fees and early repayment costs will be waived in these circumstances.
• The lending amounts are limited to $500,000.

Hardship arrangements

• Suspending loan repayments for 90 days (Loan repayments are capitalised on to the loan, which will increase monthly repayments.)

BNZ Deposit-only Customers

Access to Emergency Funds

• Customers who only have deposit funds can access up to $2.5k temporary overdraft limit for up to 90 days (at an interest rate of 4.5% pa).
