Why spend your money on bank fees? When you've got
far more important things to spend your money on, like a new CD,
shoes, movie tickets, Chardonnay, lunch or lipstick.
Smart Money lets you do just that. Under 30's pay no
monthly base fee, and there's no charge for 30 electronic transactions1 each
month (Service Fees may apply).

What is a Smart Money
electronic transaction?
Electronic transactions are:

- That's either by using a BNZ ATM6, BNZ
Internet Banking, or electronic transactions such as EFTPOS or
Telephone Banking7

transactions each month
What fees and interest
will apply to Smart Money?
- Normal Account
fees will apply to transactions over and above your 30
electronic transactions.
- Account fees that are not considered to be
electronic transactions will still apply. For example these
include a monthly Overdraft8 facility fee if you
have an Overdraft on your account and a fee charged for each
cheque you write.
- Service
fees will still apply to Smart Money. Examples of Service
fees include Automatic Payments and Bill Payment Establishment
and Amendment Fees.
- A Service Fee will be charged if you use another
banks' ATM.
- No credit interest is paid on this account.
- If you get an overdraft facility, overdraft
debit interest will be charged.
What happens when you
turn 30?
Before you turn 30 we'll send you a letter to help you decide
which account is best for you to move to, and we'll manage the change.
We will automatically change your account to our MyMoney transaction
account.
Or, by the time you're 30, you may have enough business
with us to qualify for monthly fee rebates with our Ready
Money everyday account.
