12 December 2005 - It should come as no surprise to anyone that our regular survey of Weekly Overview readers has uncovered a deterioration in sentiment over the past month.


 

15 November 2005 - Our monthly survey of readers of the Weekly Overview has shown that a net 65% feel the economy will get worse over the next 12 months.


 

11 October 2005 - Going by the number of comments expressing disappointment at the election outcome and concerns about the direction of policy over the next three years, it seems hardly surprising that confidence captured in our survey has fallen away to its worst level since data gathering started in February.


 

13 September 2005 - The latest survey shows a net 43% of all respondents said they feel pessimistic about the economy over the next twelve months, this is an improvement from last months survey.


 

9 August 2005 - Our monthly survey of Weekly Overview readers elicited 276 responses and showed a net 45% feeling pessimistic about the economy over the next 12 months.


 

12 July 2005 - The latest survey shows that a net 51% of respondents expect the economy to get worse over the next year.


 

31 May 2005 - Fresh news has been thin on the ground recently and clearly the Budget has not had any discernible impact.


 

17 May 2005 - Expectations for the NZ economy remain fairly poor with a net 50% of respondents to our fortnightly survey saying they expect the economy to get worse over the coming year.


 

3 May 2005 - Many thanks to those people who responded to our fortnightly survey. A net 62% of respondents said they expect the economy to get worse over the coming year.


 

19 April 2005 - Our fortnightly survey of Weekly Overview readers has revealed that a net 56% of survey respondents feel the economy will deteriorate over the coming year.


 

6 April 2005 - Our fortnightly survey of Weekly Overview readers has revealed that a net 60% of survey respondents feel the economy will deteriorate over the coming year.

09 March 2005 - Over the past month we have been trailing the introduction of a regular internet-based and email-notified survey of readers of the BNZ Weekly Overview.
